THE MArTA MUSEUM
Supporting cultural heritage means making a material contribution to the conservation of historical evidence and passing it on to future generations: unique, irreplaceable, non-renewable heritage, which speaks to us of past civilisations and reveals the cultural identity of peoples and events that show us who we are today.
Every contribution is important, because cultural heritage is a form of wealth that is shared by all. In this sense, with respect to southern Italy and the western Mediterranean, the heritage of Taranto holds a special value.
